Nikki (Nichole) Byer is an Associate Attorney with the Paul Davis Law Firm, LLC, in Lawrence, Kansas. She is a graduate of Fort Hays State University, having earned multiple Bachelor’s degrees (Marketing, Mathematics, and Secondary Education) as well as a Masters of Science in School Counseling, and she earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2024.

Nikki, a (nearly) lifelong Kansan, spent five years in a small women-owned estate planning firm in Dodge City prior to obtaining her law license and moving to Lawrence. Her practice areas are estate planning, probate, real estate, and government relations, and she plans to offer KanCare application facilitator services in the near future. Nikki is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, the Douglas County Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Prior to beginning her law career, Nikki was a high school math teacher and licensed school counselor.

Nikki, her husband Jason (a project engineer), and their daughter look forward to becoming more involved in the local community.
